Big night for Tony Parker, Nicolas Batum and Zaza Pachulia. First game in double digit for Mekel

NBA

San Antonio Spurs - Los Angeles Lakers 91-85

Spurs:

Boris Diaw (14 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist): Diaw was among the starters of the game and contributed with 14 points (5/11 from the field) in 22 minutes of action.

Tony Parker (24 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists): without Tim Duncan, Parker was the MVP of the game with 24 points (12 of 18 from the field), 4 rebounds and 6 assists in 36 minutes on the court.

Marco Belinelli (2 points, 3 rebounds): not the best night for Belinelli who scored just 2 points in 16 minutes shooting 1 of 5 from the field. Belinelli added 3 rebounds.

Nando De Colo (DNP)

Lakers:

Pau Gasol (20 points, 11 rebounds): Gasol’s first double double of the season was not enough for the Lakers to beat the Spurs. Gasol ended with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 1 assist.

Chris Kaman (4 points, 4 rebounds): just 12 minutes on the court for Kaman in the loss. The big man came off the bench.


Los Angeles Clippers - Sacramento Kings 110-101

Clippers:

Byron Mullens (3 points, 3 rebounds): Mullens came off the bench in Clippers’ victory over the Kings. The forward had limite time on the court (15 minutes) in which he scored 3 points with 3 rebounds shooting 1 of 4 from the field.

Utah Jazz - Phoenix Suns 84-87

Jazz:

Enes Kanter (20 points, 12 rebounds, 5 blocks): another great performance for the Turkish big man who ended with a double double in points and rebounds. Kanter added also 5 blocks. He shot 8 of 22 from the field in 38 minutes.

Rudy Gobert (1 point): The French rookie had just 8 minutes by coach Gobert and scored one of the two free throw attempts he had.

Suns:

Goran Dragic (5 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists): after he big debut in the season opener, Goran Dragic had a bad shooting night with just 2 of 11 from the field. The Slovenian PG scored just 5 points and dished 5 assists in 24 minutes.

Alex Len (3 points, 1 rebound): the rookie from Ukraine came off the bench to play 13 minutes. Len scored 3 points and grabbed 1 rebound.

Portland Trail Blazers - Denver Nuggets 113-98

Blazers:

Nicolas Batum (21 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists): great performance for the French forward who ended the game as second best scorer of the team with 21 points. Batum added also 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 35 minutes on the court.

Joel Freeland (5 points, 7 rebounds): the British big man came off the bench to score 5 points (but just 1 of 7 from the field). Freeland fought under the glasses grabbing 7 rebounds and adding also 3 assists.

Victor Claver (1 minutes): just one minute for the Spanish forward.

Nuggets:

Timofey Mozgov (8 points, 3 rebounds): the Russian center came off the bench to play 21 minutes. Mozgov scored 8 points (50% from the field) and grabbed 3 rebounds in the loss.

Evan Fournier (1 assist): awful night for the French. Fournier did not score from the field despite his 6 attempts. 


Miami Heat - Brooklyn Nets 100-101

Nets:

Andrei Kirilenko (8 points, 2 rebounds): The Russian forward made his debut with the Nets. In just 11 minutes coming off the bench, AK47 scored 8 points with 2 of 4 from the field and 4 of 8 from the line.

Oklahoma City Thunder - Minnesota Timberwolves 81-100

Thunder:

Serge Ibaka (9 points, 9 rebounds): Losing effort for the forward. Ibaka flirted with a double double (9+9) but the Thunder were routed by the Wolves. Ibaka shot 3/13 from the field.

Thabo Sefolosha (4 points, 4 rebounds): The Swiss forward scored 4 points, added 4 rebounds but shot 1 of 8 from the field in 22 minutes.

Timberwolves:

Nikola Pekovic (15 points, 10 rebounds): The big man from Montenegro registered his first double double of the season. Pekovic dominated under the glasses in 27 minutes.

Ricky Rubio (14 points, 2 rebounds, 10 assist): Rubio scored and helped his teammates to score behind his 10 assists. Rubio shot 50% from the filed (4-8) and was perfect from the line (4-4).

Ronny Turiaf (1 assist). Just 3 minutes for the French big man.


Alexey Shved (7 points, 2 rebounds): Coming off the bench, Shved contributed with 7 points and 2 rebounds. He shot 1 of 3 from the field.


Dallas Mavericks - Houston Rockets 105-113

Mavericks:

Dirk Nowitzki (22 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists): Losing effort for the German forward. Nowitzki scored 22 points shooting 6 of 15 from the field in 29 minutes.

Jose Calderon (6 assists): awful night for the Spanish point guard. Calderon was scoreless (0/8 from the filed) and helped his team with 6 assists in 25 minutes.

Gal Mekel (11 points, 6 assist): First double digit for the Israeli PG. Mekel scored 11 points shooting 5 of 7 from the field and dished 6 assists in 22 minutes.

Rockets:

Omer Asik (6 points, 12 rebounds). The Turkish was dominant under the glasses with 12 rebounds. He had also chance to score 6 points in his 15 minutes on the court.

Omri Casspi (12 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists): The Israeali forward beat his teammate in NT Mekel. Casspi came off the bench to score 12 points in 21 minutes of action.

Donatas Motiejunas (1 point): 4 minutes on the court and 1 point for the Lithuanian.


Detroit Pistons - Memphis Grizzlies 108-111

Pistons:

Jonas Jerebko (4 rebounds): just 6 minutes on the court for the Swedish forward. Zero shot attempts but 4 rebounds for him

Gigi Datome (DNP)

Grizzlies:

Marc Gasol (15 points, 8 rebounds 5 assist): All Around performance for Gasol who gave a big contribution to the victory. Gasol played 37 minutes scoring 15 points, adding 8 rebounds and 5 assists.

Kostas Koufos (6 points, 3 rebounds): The Greek saw action for 16 minutes and scored 6 points grabbing 3 rebounds coming off the bench.

Milwaukee Bucks - Boston Celtics 105-98


Bucks:

Ersan Ilyasova (5 points, 4 rebounds): The Turkish forward started the game to score 5 points and grab 4 rebounds in 23 minutes. Ilyasova shot 2 of 7 from the filed.

Zaza Pachulia (20 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists): another great performance for the Georgian big man. Pachulia flirted with a double double with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assist in 30 minutes of action. Pachulia added also 2 steps and 2 blocks in the win.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (5 points, 2 rebounds): The Greek rising start came off the bench to play 12 minutes. He scored 5 points and grabbed 2 rebounds.

Toronto Raptors - Atlanta Hawks 95-102


Raptors:

Jonas Valanciunas (4 points, 4 rebounds): not the best performance in the NBA for the big man. Valanciunas scored just 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 17 minutes of action

Hawks:

Dennis Schroder (4 points): the German point guard came off the bench to score 4 points.

Pero Antic (5 points): first points in the NBA for the forward. Antic came off the bench, played 11 minutes and scored 5 points.


Philadelphia 76ers - Washington Wizards 109-102

Wizards:

Marci Gortat (12 points, 7 rebounds): the Polish big man started the game for the first time since being traded to the Wizards. Gortat scored 12 points with 7 rebounds in 36 minutes.

Kevin Seraphin (8 points, 2 rebounds): the French came off the bench to score 8 points on a 4 of 8 shooting night.

New Orleans Pelicans - Orlando Magic 90-110

Magic:

Nikola Vucevic (10 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists): The big man gave an important contribution for the Magic’s first victory. Vucevic scored 10 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and 3 assists in 27 minutes of action.


Cleveland Cavaliers - Charlotte Bobcats 84-90

Bobcats:

Jeffery Taylor (8 points): The Swedish came off the bench to score 8 points in the first victory of the season for the Bobcats.
