Celtics picking up Paul Pierce's option?
Boston is still trying to trade Paul Pierce
As reported by Marc Stein, the Boston Celtics are leaning toward picking up Paul Pierce's option if they won't be able to trade by by the end of June.
If Pierce is going to stay, he can team up another year with Kevin Garnett. Both were close to leave the team since few days ago.
