DKV Joventut, Bienvenu Letuni cleared to play

The giant from Congo, Bienvenu Letuni was cleared to play and will start his new experience from the 30th of April with DKV Joventut Badalona.

The player underwent surgery to treat gigantism syndrome. Letuni is 15, is tall 224cm and his weight is 136kg.

The 20th of April the player will go back to Kinshasa to visit his family for ten days before starting the new career.

"We need him to grow as a player and initially he will play for the junior team" said Pedro Martí, the director of Penya.

"In three years we would like to add him to the first team roster and in four years we want him to be an important player of our team" added Martí.
