Obradoiro, decisive days

Obradoiro, readmitted in ACB from the next season after a ruling, is going through decisive days for its future.


Next week the management of the club will meet Galicia district council president Alberto Núñez Feijoo.

"It will be a key moment but not conclusive" said the president of the team José Ángel Docobo.

If the local government will help the club, it will be able to play in the next ACB. Obradoiro needs €4mln euro for the basketball operations and €600.000 for the registration at the league.

"We have a sponsor and we started to approach informally some players. However without the help of the local government we cannot play in ACB" added the president.

More optimistic the new GM José Ramón Lete: "The indications that come from the municipality are good. We believe that Obradoiro will play in ACB next year".

CAI, Murcia and Menorca are interested in the event. If Obradoiro won't play ACB next year there will be just one team relegated this season from ACB to Leb ORO.
