Mike Conley would love to play for Team USA in Olympics despite the injury that sidelined him since March.
Per Memphis Commercial Appeal, Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley wants to play for USA Basketball during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. “I’m still planning on going to the Olympics if invited,” Conley told The Commercial Appeal when asked after Golden State guard Stephen Curry and others removed their names from consideration due to injuries.
Conley has completely recovered from a sore Achilles that kept him from playing since March, an MRI confirmed roughly two weeks ago.
