EuroBasket 2015, group D: day 4 highlights

Fourth day of EuroBasket, Czech Republic and Lithuania will play for the first place tomorrow

In the first match of the day Czech Republic won vs Belgium for 66-64, despite the comeback of the Lions in the last quarter. Satoransky scored the decisive shot to bring his team to 3-1 record and on top of group D. Belgium scored a 13-0 partial in the last 10 minutes of the game but at the end there are too many turnovers for the Lions. 

Top scorer for Czech Rep Vesely with 21 pts and 12 reb, great game also for Satoransky, with 14 points and 9 assist, and Benda (13+5).
Across for Belgium 12 points of Tabu, 10+4 for Gillet, 8 each of De Zeeuw and Serron and 7+5+7 for Van Rossom.



In a really balanced game Ukraine obtained a surprising victory vs Estonia for 75-74. The hosts missed the last shot for the victory with 15 seconds left, after the free throws of the men of coach Murzin.

MVP for the winners Fesenko with 21+10, great performance also for Lypovyy (15), Randle (11 pts and 5 ass), Zaytsev with 9 points and Korniyenko (8+9).
For Latvia 17 of Bertans, 13+6 of Berzins, 12 for Blums and 11 of Janicenoks, with 7 points and 5 rebounds each for Timma and Freimanis.



In the last match of the day Estonia played an amazing game, but Lithuania won at the end for 64-62 thanks to the basket of Maciulis with almost 2 seconds left to the end. Thanks to the great third quarter Estonia taken an important advantage, but in the last possessions the experience of the men of Kazlauskas and the work at rebound was decisive for the final victory.

MVP for Lithuania Maciulis with 15 points and 10 rebounds, 14 points for Kavaliauskas, 11 of Seibutis, 8+8 for Kuzminskas and 8 points with 7 assist of Kalnietis.
Across for the players of Sokk amazing performance of Talts with 20 points (3/6 by 3), 10 points of Veideman and 9 each for Kangur and Kurbas.
