Italy will try to host one of the three preolimpic tournaments?

Italian Basketball Federation will try to host one of the three preolimpic tournaments scheduled for July 2016, according to Il Corriere dello Sport. Each tournament will have six teams with the best one (of each tournament)that will book the pass for Rio 2016. Italy has to finish the next Eurobasket between the 3rd and the 7th position to have more chances to be one of the hosts. If one European country will host one of the three tournaments, the country that will finish Eurobasket in 8th position will be invited to the tournament.
