National Teams

Let’s go to look over other five underrated young men who could become great players if they will be coached in the right way.

Ordane Kanda-Kanyinda (’96): The Congo-Belgian point-guard in 2012 was valuated a good prospect of his country but in these years he has lost a lot of consideration. In my opinion, he is still a good player who could grow up very well. He is a fast counterattack player with a good ball-handling and a efficient middle-range shoot. He has to improve many features of his game, like his shooting speed, three point shot or defense, but right now, playing few minutes, he could help his team thanks to his scoring skills.

Dzanan Musa (’99): Even though he was one year younger than the majority of the others U16 European Championship players, he won the competition scoring ranking with 23 point per game. The 202 cm Bosnian shooting-guard has remarkable scoring skills that could help him to turn out to be a great professional player. Ha has a good ball-handling for his height and a excellent ability to attack the basket. He can use contacts to collect drawn-fouls but also he create his own shot. As well he should train to improve his shot percentage, but regarding the offence he is already a complete player. However he is not only a scorer. He can also plays for his teammates, grabs rebounds and be a good defensive stopper. He seems to have all the skills to grow up very well.

Oliver Vujakovic (’96): The young Luxembourger has been one of the most impressive players of the last European Championship Division B. Playing as forward, he is not so fast and he has not even the best ball-handling but he is strong, physically and technically. In fact he has a great shot, useful to score from everywhere on the court. He also has a sense of position that helps him to grab many rebounds. This season he will plays in the Luxembourgian second league which is not one of the most important championship but certainly it will help him to end up being a better player, for having more minutes and responsibility unlike any other championships.

Aleksa Ilic (’96): Even if his youth national team, Montenegro, has not won many games this summer, Ilic has shown impressive qualities. He is a great athlete: fast, versatile and he can also jump very high. His skills makes him a good player even now. As for defense he can grabs many rebounds and blocks shots. As for offence he has to improve his jump-shot to become a real threat but he seems to have IQ to grow up very well.

Nikolay Vangelov (’96): Bumping into a 213 cm high player is always something rare. This young Bulgarian centre may become a good professional player if he will improve his playing. Right now he is a good rebounder and blocker thanks to his long arms so he has to gain weight and also and become a better shooter in order to represent a danger both offensively and defensively.
