Team USA, DeMarcus Cousins left the scrimmage with a knee injury
The problem doesn't seem so bad
In the first practice since Paul George broke his leg during a scrimmage, Team USA suffered another injury blow. DeMarcus Cousins injured his right knee in Thursday's practice while going for a loose ball. He got tangled with Anthony Davis when both big men hit the floor during a scrimmage toward the end of practice. Cousins had to be helped off the court, and favored his right leg.
Jerry Colangelo, director of Team USA, said he is "wishful, hopeful" that Cousins is OK and told reporters that the Sacramento Kings' big man will miss Saturday's game against Brazil. Colangelo said Cousins will have a precautionary MRI on his leg.
