National Teams

Korea-Cote d'Ivoire 73-67
Despite being outrebounded 31-42 and allowing 20 offensive boards, Korea gets the win and the 13th placement in World Championship, thanks to that overtime win against the hosts. Cote d'Ivoire finishes in 15th position, having beaten Senegal.
Korea has 21 points from Sangjae Kang and 22 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists from Junyong Choi, while Dalen Traoré scores 22 for Cote d'Ivoire.

Czech Republic-Senegal 80-78
Czech Republic escapes with a win, avoiding another humiliation; Senegal ends up in last place. Prokop Slanina finishes with 19 points, 8 rebounds and a crucial three-point play with 1.40 minutes on the clock, and Radovan Kouril also wakes up for the hosts (18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists). Senegal has 20 points from Diatta and a double-double from Ndoye (16 points, 13 rebounds).

Argentina-Canada 62-78
Canada capitalizes the conspicuous physical advantage in the first half (42-23), gaining the fourth spot in group E. So Argentina is headed to Classification round, while Canada will face USA in Quarter-Finals.
The Canadians have 17 points from Ennis, 16 from Rathan-Mayes and 21 with 12 rebounds from Lyles, while the only double-figures scorer for Argentina is big man Gonzalo Torres (16).

Iran-Croatia 60-81
As expected, Iran's hope of advance to Quarter-Finals break up against Croatia, which is leading by 15 at the half. Croatia anyway ends up in third spot, despite having the same record as Spain and Lithuania: that means a tough match-up against Serbia in the next round.
Saric has 27 points and 9 rebounds, Tomislav Gabric has 20 and Iran's Forutan Nik has 17.

China-Brazil 77-87
With China already sure of third spot in Group F, and Brazil already in Classification round, this game has been almost meaningless. China rests Qi Zhou, is outrebounded 22-38 and allows Brazil to score almost 60% from the field.
Shang Gao has 30 points, while point guard Deryk Ramos has 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Australia-Russia 78-61
Australia makes it to the Quarter-Finals in a do-or-die game, Russia is headed to Classification round. Only 7 turnovers for the Aussies (Russia has 16), who shoot 8/16 from beyond the arc (Russia shoots only 3/13). Exum has 20 points and 6 assist, soon-to-be Gael Dane Pineau adds 16 and Russian Igor Kanygin has 17.

USA-Serbia 71-62
Serbia is able to hold his own against USA, trailing only by 3 after three quarters, despite being outrebounded 27-46 and allowing 24 offensive boards. USA are now the only undefeated team in World Championship, and will face the Wiggins-less Canadians in Quarter-Finals.
Okafor (16) and Sulaimon (15) are the top scorers for United States, while Vasilje Micic has an impressive game for Serbia and finishes with 24 points.

Spain-Lithuania 59-61
Lithuania holds the second spot in Group E with a really difficult win. Spain overcomes a 10 point deficit in the second half, having the three for the tie with 25 seconds on the clock: Josep Perez misses it, sending Croatia against Serbia.
Marius Grigonis has 13 points for Lithuania, while Hernangomez and Vicedo have 11 apiece for Spain.
