Olimpia Milano, Sergio Scariolo has one month to save his job

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sergio Scariolo has one month to save his job as head coach of Olimpia Milano.

Scariolo started the season with Milano with 4 losses in Seriea A in seven games and 3 losses in Euroleague in 5 games.

Yesterday there were some rumors on his next firing but the club decided to keep him and give a month to come back.

Milano ruled out that Fabrizio Frates, his assistant coach, would be promoted in case of Scariolo being kicked out of the team.

The front runner will be Zeljko Obradovic. The Serbian coach is free agent after his successfull year with Panathinaikos.

La Gazzetta dello Sport also reported that Petteri Koponen was offered to the team but sources close to the player denied the rumor to Sportando.
