Virtus Roma agreed to terms with Anthony Maestranzi

Virtus Roma agreed to terms with Anthony Maestranzi for the playmaker position. The American-Italian player will arrive in Roma on loan from Montepaschi Siena who signed him with a three-year deal. Maestranzi spent the last two years with Sutor Montegranaro with the last one full of injuries and problems with coach Pillastrini.
Maestranzi will share his role with Nemanja Gordic with Djedovic ready to enter from the bench. Virtus will have the formula 2USA+4Bosman player with the two extra in guard and center position.
Angelo Gigli and Vladimir Dasic are on their way to leave, the first one to Virtus Bologna while the second one can return to Spain. In small forward spot Gigi Datome will remain in the team.


Former Italian International and Virtus Roma player David Bonora will be named team manager while Marco Calvani is the main target as assistant coach of Lino Lardo.
