Mahmuti rejected the proposal of Treviso

Oktay Mahmuti rejected the proposal made by Benetton Treviso. The Italian club offered a three year deal but the Turkish coach decided to stop his adventure on the bench of Benetton. Mahmuti arrived during the season 2007/08 and this year reached the semifinal in Italian playoffs and the Eurocup Final Eight.

Treviso, who has already an agreement with Kalnietis and Hackett for the coming season, will look for a replacement in the next days. The main candidates are Rimas Kurtinaitis and David Blatt who said recently he loves Treviso. Another name is Franck Vitucci who has been assistant coach for Benetton in the last years.
