Virtus Bologna, Ford and Righetti to leave?

Virtus Bologna is planning the future and in the next hours Lino Lardo will be appointed as new head coach of the team. The Italian club will not exercise the option on the contract of American big man Sharrod Ford, as reported by Il Domani. Another player who is going to leave is Alex Righetti that, after a good season in Avellino, this year did not satisfied the staff with his poor performances.

Koponen, Blizzard and Vukcevic will stay in Bologna while Roberto Chiacig will not be renewed after two years.

Andre Collins will be officialized as soon as Lardo will be appointed as new head coach. There are also rumors on Jonas Jerebko and Michele Antonutti.
