Argentinian player with Italian passport Patricio Prato left Solsonica Rieti due to financial problems and signed a contract with Cantù.
Prato was born in 1979 in Argentina (Buenos Aires) and in 19 games played this season averaged 11.5 points in 24.3 minutes on the court. Graduated in Saint Bonaventure University, Prato arrived soon in Italy where he has worn the jersey of Fortitudo Bologna, Scandone Avellino and Rieti.
