If suspended by Italian Federation, Milano may part ways with Hackett
Hackett left the training camp without permission
If the Italian Federation suspends Daniel Hackett, Olimpia Milano may decide to part ways with him.
Daniel Hackett left the Italian National Team training camp a few days ago without permission.
After a few hours, Hackett wrote a long post on Facebook explaining his decision to leave the training camp.
But according to rules, Hackett may be suspended in Serie A from 5 to 12 months.
The combo guard has two year left on his contract with EA7 but if the Italian champions can’t use him in Serie A, they could decide to break the agreement, according to sources.
Olimpia Milano president Livio Proli invited Hackett to re-join the training camp and talk with the federation to explain his reasons.
