Apparently, during the team's debut practices, Mallet injured his pectoralis major muscle during a weight lifting exercise. That said, Sportando reports that the Dragons have already approached its top recruit in the 5'11" crafty California native playmaker Pooh Jeter.
Jeter spent the 2010-2011 season with the NBA's Sacramento Kings, averaging 4.2ppg, 1.1rpg, and 2.7apg in 61 appearances. Last season, Jeter played in Europe's elite league in the Spanish ACB for Joventut Badalona where he collected 11.5ppg, 1.6rpg and 2.9apg as a starter.
Jeter recently underwent contract negotiations with former Israeli club Hapoel Jerusalem (who ended up signing former K-State guard Jacob Pullen), and is rumored to have an a number of Chinese offers.
