Chalon edge Prokom 81-74

Chalon won the first game in Euroleague against Asseco Prokom Gdynia with the final score of 81-74.

The French Champion made the difference in the central quarters of the game won 22-16 and 24-20. Chalon was lead by Steed Tchicamboud who flirted with a double double: 16 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. The French club had 17 points each by Brion Rush and Ilian Evtimov while former NBA Shelden Williams scored 8 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
For Prokom Lukasz Koszarek nailed 14 points, pulled down 7 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Polish rising star Ponitka added 13 points, Frank Robinson had 12 points while Julian Khazzouh registered a double double (11 points and 11 rebounds).
