After counting the votes from fans and media members far and wide, Euroleague Basketball is pleased to release the names of the 10 nominees for the All-Euroleague teams. Tens of thousands of fans from around the globe were able to cast votes for their favorite players, as did media members from each of the countries with Euroleague teams this season. Teams that qualified to the Final Four dominated the nominations, with CSKA Moscow striking three nominees, while FC Barcelona Regal and Panathinaikos each had two. Only two nominees came teams that did not reach the Final Four, which highlights the importance playing team-oriented, winning basketball has on being an All-Euroleague nominee. The All-Euroleague first and second teams as well as the identity of the 2011-12 Euroleague MVP will be revealed at the Efes Pilsener Euroleague Awards Ceremony on the evening of May 12 at Ciragan Palace in Istanbul during the 2012 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four.
