Darussafaka stuns CSKA, delivers champs’ first loss

There are no undefeated teams left in the 2016-17 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague after Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul defeated reigning champion CSKA Moscow 91-83 at home on Wednesday. Darussafaka improved to 5-2, while CSKA still leads the standings with a 6-1 record. James Anderson led the winners with 20 points on 5-of-9 three-point shooting. Brad Wanamaker collected 18 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals, Will Clyburn added 14 points and Adrien Moerman 11. Cory Higgins and Nando De Colo led CSKA with 17 points apiece. Milos Teodosic added 15 and 10 assists, while Kyle Hines had 11 points and 8 rebounds for the visitors. Darussafaka made 10 of 21 three-point shots (47.6%) and forced CSKA into 18 turnovers.
