Zalgiris Kaunas head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius was mad after the loss in EuroLeague against Darussafaka Dogus.
The coach criticized his team for the poor performance against the Turkish team that won in Kaunas.
“I am stunned by the players. I had a very long career as a player. The players did the opposite of what I have said. Usually I take responsibility for the loss, the coach has to do that. But not today. I am not going to defend them. They should look themselves at mirror. I am shocked. They have played like 9th graders. There are no more excuses” Jasikevicius said, as reported by 15min.
There won’t be days off for Zalgiris Kaunas now: “Players don't care about basketball now. So we will make them to care”, as Donatas Urbonas wrote on Twitter.
Jasikevicius is not happy for Kevin Pangos and Augusto Lima’s performances so far but he is not planning to waive them: I am not that type of guy.
