The French point guard led Zalgiris to the 1st win of the season in EuroLeague with a 20 points performance with 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
For Westermann 20 points are a career high in EuroLeague.
VASSILIS SPANOULIS (Olympiacos)
The Greek guard became the second player to score 3.000 points in EuroLeague and celebrated with a great performance and win vs. Anadolu Efes Istanbul. Spanoulis ended the game with 17 points, 9 assists and 9 fouls drawn.
ANDREY VORONTSEVICH (CSKA Moscow)
The EuroLeague reigning champions suffered till the very end to beat Panathinaikos. And the Russian forward was one of the key pieces of Itoudis’ team. Vorontesivch finished with 20 points with 5 for 6 from the arc.
NICOLO’ MELLI (Brose Bamberg)
The German champions almost won the first game of the season on Fenerbahce’s court. But in the second round they grabbed the first win behind Melli’s big game. The Italian forward ended with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists shooting 4 for 7 from the field and 7 for 7 from the line.
MILAN MACVAN (Olimpia Milano)
The Serbian led Olimpia Milano to a tough win at the Volkswagen Arena against Darussafaka Dogus. Macvan scored 19 points with 6 rebounds and 3 assists shooting 3 for 3 from long range.
COACH DEJAN RADONJIC (KK Crvena Zvezda)
The Serbian champions won in Istanbul against Galatasaray with a huge comeback. After losing at the Kombank Arena the opening game of the season, the team coached by Radonjic grabbed the first win in EuroLeague on the court of the EuroCup reigning champions.
