"Mia San Mia: The Pesices" opens The Insider Euroleague Documentaries Series this week

Combine a world-renowned sports clubs with elite basketball's only father-son management tandem, and you get a fascinating first edition of The Insider Euroleague Documentaries Series presented by Turkish Airlines.

"Mia San Mia: The Pesices", which debuts this week, goes inside the relationship between a family and a club that has helped lift FC Bayern Munich's profile in European basketball in a sport that is loved by its many fans. 

FC Bayern Munich's motto "Mia San Mia" - which means, "We are who we are" - is perfect, too, for legendary head coach Svetislav Pesic and his son Marko, the team's general manager, who together draw on their vast experience in Germany and in basketball to make the Bavarian capital a new hotspot in the sport.

Special guests on the documentary included FC Bayern football coach Pep Guardiola and FC Bayern board member Mathias Sammer, superstars who have seen first-hand the remarkable growth of basketball in their club.

"Mia San Mia: The Pesices" is the first of a series that will be released from now until the end of the season. Subsequent documentaries will spotlight Sergio Llull, the catalyst of defending champion Real Madrid, living legend coach Zeljko Obradovic of Fenerbahce Istanbul, and more Euroleague protagonists.

The documentary series will be part of a completely redesigned website at The Insider presented by Turkish Airlines that will include all videos produced during the season as well as social media interaction from all the Euroleague teams and players.
