Payments to clubs in the new Basketball Champions League are very high

FIBA will likely launch the new competition from 2017-2018

On Tuesday with a press release, FIBA announced that they have offered innovative partnership to top European clubs.
The Basketball Champions League will likely start from 2017-2018 and will have 16 clubs.

Eight with A license (Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Efes, Fenerbahce, CSKA Moscow, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Panathinaikos and Olympiacos), four with fixed slots (Italian, French, German and Lithuanian champions) plus four coming from a qualifying tournaments.

The fees for the participants are very high.
