The Serbians beat Real Madrid in the final
Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade became the 2014 Euroleague Basketball Nike International Junior Tournament- Milan champion after beating Real Madrid 55-42 in the title game Sunday at Mediolanum Forum. Aleksandar Aranitovic led the way with 15 points, while Vojislav Stojanovic tallied 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Stojanovic was named tournament MVP after averaging 13.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.5 steals as Crvena Zvezda completed an undefeated run through the event. Joining him on the NIJT All-Tournament Team are point guard Francesc Iturria of Club Joventut Badalona, power forward Martynas Echodas of Zalgiris Kaunas and the Madrid duo of small forward Yusta Santiago and center Wally Niang. Crvena Zvezda led 28-24 in the final at halftime and increased the difference to 44-35 through three quarters. A 9-0 start to the fourth ended all doubt.
