The 2013 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four will officially start with a new, first-of-its-kind initiative, #EUROLEAGUEisON, which brings together corporate social responsibility, sport and business, all in one event, on Thursday, May 9 in London. #EUROLEAGUEisON will unfold at one of London's most emblematic modern buildings, City Hall, with the backdrop of one of its most traditional monuments, Tower Bridge. With this new event, Euroleague Basketball will combine four different activities to tip off a weekend's worth of basketball fun throughout London.

#EUROLEAGUEisON will begin with a CSR activity developed by Euroleague Basketball's best-in-class social responsibility program, One Team. With the collaboration of Special Olympics, an official partner of One Team, stars from each of the Final Four teams will spend time with a group of children with intellectual disabilities to talk and play basketball together. This will also be the official United Kingdom launch of One Team, which aims to integrate communities using the power of basketball.

Following the CSR activity comes the Efes Pilsener Euroleague Awards Ceremony, which honors the season's best players as voted by the media and fans. The Efes Pilsener Euroleague Awards Ceremony will be highlighted by the announcement of which player has been voted MVP for the 2012-13 Turkish Airlines Euroleague season.

Just after the Efes Pilsener Euroleague Awards Ceremony, the head coaches and players from the Final Four teams will be the protagonists at the official "Opening Press Conference". Media members from all over the world are expected as the Final Four stars give impressions of their date with destiny at the Final Four in London.

#EUROLEAGUEisON will conclude with the all-new "Innovation in Sports Business Summit", featuring a high-profile panel of sport industry leaders who will debate and share insights on ways to innovate in sport.

A first panel of experts will debate “Innovation as a Revenue Driver in Sport”, with a focus on how technology has expanded both competition and revenue streams in sports. From branding to content marketing, the panel will share insight on how technology enables sports properties to engage with potential customers and how brands, agencies or a media distributor can capitalize through innovative technology. A second panel of experts will discuss about “The Power of Sport. How can sport create a legacy?” They will focus on how programmes such as One Team can make a social impact and grow sport at the grassroots level.
